All STEM Academy course commitment fees fund the scholarships provided each year by APL’s STEM Program Office.
Graduating seniors who have met the following requirements are eligible for several APL STEM scholarships. Three scholarships will be awarded each year specifically within the STEM Academy program. To qualify, a student must:
- Be a current or former STEM Academy student and have received certificates of completion for all courses taken
- Have successfully completed at least three STEM Academy courses
- Plan to attend an accredited college, university, or community college for the academic year immediately after graduation
- Plan to major in a STEM field
The scholarship application period begins in January. Scholarship awards are presented at the Spring STEM Expo.
